Samsons Distillery Pvt Ltd., is situated in a picturesque spot near Duggavathi Village in Harapanahalli Taluk of Davangere District. The Administrative office of the Factory is at Davangere. The Chief Promoter of this Distillery Sri. Shamanur Shivashankarappa, the Ex-M.P of Davangere and Member of Legislative Assembly, is noted for promotion of Technical Education in the state and is the promoter of famous Bapuji Institute of Engineering & Technology, J.J.M.Medical and Bapuji Dental College and other Professional colleges in and around Davangere.

The distillery is the brain child of the young dynamic leader Mr. S.S.Mallikarjun, who is Ex-member of Legislative Assembly from Davangere Constituency & Ex-minister of Youth Services & Sports in the – Cong. (I) Government and presently the Chairman of S.S.Institute of Medical Science and Research Centre, Davangere The Distillery is managed by many other qualified Administrative & Technical personal. We have adopted the latest Technology of continuous fermentation and Ecofine distillation system supplied by M/s. Praj Industries, Pune and M/s Disti Chemi Metal Works, Bilimora We have adopted Granular Yeast Development and recirculation Technology for getting better alcohol percentage and good quality of spirit.
